Our Foundation
A Family Owned Business
For more than 200 years, Lennon's W.B. Wilcox Jewelers has served the Mohawk Valley and beyond as the area's premier jeweler. At Lennon's, our focus has always been the same: to provide the best quality, largest selection, and most competitive price on all of our jewelry and gifts.

Our Expertise
When Talking About Diamonds
Lennon's is second to none. As a member of the largest jewelry buying group in the country, Lennon's not only has the selection, but also some of the most unique styles not found with many of our competitors. Lennon's also has their very own jewelers and gemologists right on the premises to answer any questions you may have and help you select the most perfect diamond.
Our Story
A Store with a Glass Door
Harold T. Lennon Sr. opened Lennon's Jewelers at 4 Lafayette Street in Utica, NY. That corner of Genesee Street, Lafayette Street, and Bleeker Street was known as "The Busy Corner." He was one of the first to offer customers the luxury of air conditioning and had the first full glass door in the city, advertising as "The Store with the Glass Door."
After graduating from St. Lawrence University and completing military service in the U.S. Army, Harold Jr. and Richard Lennon joined the family firm. Harold Sr. purchased the W.B. Wilcox Co. Jewelers Store, with Harold T. Lennon Jr. becoming President and moving the operation to 248 Genesee Street, then later to 238 Genesee Street.
Richard Lennon opened a store in the Sangertown Square Mall, expanding the Lennon's footprint across Central New York.
Lennon's and W.B. Wilcox merged into one location on Commercial Drive in New Hartford, celebrating "200 Years of Continuous Business" under the leadership of Harold T. Lennon Jr., Richard Lennon, and their sons Gary Lennon and Stephen Lennon.
The store continues its legacy under the direction of Gary Lennon and his daughter, Melissa Lennon, carrying forward more than two centuries of family craftsmanship, community trust, and dedication to the finest jewelry in the Mohawk Valley.
