In 1945, Harold T. Lennon Sr. opened Lennon's Jewelers at 4 Lafayette Street in Utica, on a corner so busy it was simply known as "The Busy Corner." He was one of the first jewelers in the city to offer air conditioning and installed the first full glass door in Utica, proudly advertising as "The Store with the Glass Door." Meanwhile, Wilcox Jewelers had been serving the Utica area since 1802 under the name "The Sign of the Golden Watch," eventually settling at 238 Genesee Street and becoming a beloved destination for both fine jewelry and giftware. In 1992, these two storied names merged to become Lennon's W.B. Wilcox Jewelers, uniting over a century of combined history under one roof.

Today, Lennon's W.B. Wilcox Jewelers calls 4571 Commercial Drive in New Hartford home. Still family owned and operated under the leadership of Melissa Lennon, our team of 17 includes five members of the Lennon family and staff members with over 30 years of experience. We specialize in engagement rings, wedding bands, diamond fashion jewelry, and custom design, with a full in-house repair team and three on-site jewelers ready to serve you. Times may change, but our dedication to quality, craftsmanship, and genuine customer care never will.
